In June of this year, key leaders in construction met at our offices to discuss and share insight on some of the central topics impacting the current market. As a result of the discussion, a whitepaper was produced highlighting some of the challenges and opportunities this key sector faces.

Rightly or wrongly, industry leaders are under pressure to embrace innovation.

The industry is key to our economic growth and its current position needs to be understood. Government led strategies such as Construction 2025 and Digital Built Britain cannot be achieved until there is a change in mindset towards innovation and collaboration.

Our attendees suggested that an approach where “innovation is driven and managed from the top down” (Harry Kaye, Amey) needed to be incorporated along with our own in-house approach to build skills from the bottom up.

At Kaleida we’re keen to collaborate and support the construction industry with our bespoke software and continue to identify barriers in the market and solutions to overcome them.
